welcome!
welcome to our lovely site. it's not much, but i do hope you'll come to enjoy it here. and if you don't, too bad for you. you must not be any fun. no, i'm just kidding. i'm really not that mean. all the time anyway. we're good people, honestly! have fun, man. or woman.[/blockquote]
[ ! ] in character!
• literacy. yes, i realize i've mentioned this before. i won't have a post requirement, though it would be nice if you had at least two paragraphs. not short ones either. i understand if you have writer's block, but even then if you're a good roleplayer... you must be able to at least squeeze out one or two paragraphs. no one-liners, by the way. no one ever likes those.[/blockquote]
• no perfect characters. as perfect as disney makes them seem, no character is perfect. they all must have flaws. you can control them, but they're not invincible. sorry if i disappointed you.
• keep it realistic. i realize that it's very possible for characters to have horribly tragic pasts. all of mine do. but, do try to keep it realistic. so, there's no unicorn stealing their parents and keeping them forever, okay (well, maybe)? adding to this, try to keep posts real too. so characters bleed, lust after one another, and sometimes may even be badly hurt or die. get it?
• this is a mature roleplay. yes, that means this roleplay will have sex, alcohol, and violence. can't handle it? leave.
• before you roleplay. your character has to be accepted before you can even think about roleplaying. if you've read this far, you should know the codeword to the profile format is: rainbow unicorn tricycles.
• humans and powers. yes, yes. i'm allowing humans to have powers. but a thing you should note is that powers are limited to very low level powers. i don't appreciate overly excessive ones that are just like, omgomgomgomg i can lyk shank uuuuuu! yeah, no. speaking of which, it's probably best that you ask an admin first about what's alright, 'kay? if we say no, change it or just get over it.
• have fun. i might seem a little strict, but hey. we're all here to have a little fun, right?
[ ! ] out of character!
• don't disrespect. i mean come on, it wouldn't kill you if you'd just try to be nice to everyone. seriously. along with this, be mature. don't get into fights, please. it never ends well. i'll let you cuss (mildly), but don't go overboard by dropping the f bomb every other word.[/blockquote]
• don't post offensive links. seriously. just don't. we don't want to see your porno sites, okay? people find it generally.. very disturbing. if you could refrain from that, it'd be nice. you know how to act. i'm not going on about this.
• no spamming. obviously i know that saying this won't stop some people from spamming, but i'm asking you politely. just don't do it. people don't like drowning in posts (in the c-box that is) that make no sense. use it wisely, and don't abuse it. or me, ari, rein, or nai will take it off the site. and i'm sure you don't want that.
• no backseat modding. look, if a staff member isn't on at the time and you see someone breaking the rules, then don't immediately accuse them and tell them that they're banned. calm down. just talk to the next staff member that logs on and we'll deal with it from there.
• we don't bite! if you have a question or a problem with someone or something, just ask us. we don't bite. well, we haven't lately anyway. so don't be afraid to ask the question. even if you think it's a stupid question.
• one account. all characters should be kept on one account. i will not set a limit to how many characters (because i'm prone to going overboard), but i would appreciate it if you kept them all active. you may have as many as you want, given that you also try to even out the gender ratio.
• literacy. this applies quite well for the characters as well. hesitate to use chatspeak, please. i'd prefer you to not use it at all, with the exception of: g2g, lol, and other abbreviations of the sort. you get the idea. yay you read all the rules, i'm so proud!
